Ilse and Luc from Merchtem wanted to decorate their empty walls with three paintings by Edith Verwimp. Quite a challenge, but the result was worth it. After the discussion, everyone agreed: the further elaboration would be done with warm orange as the basic color, complemented with neutral white and black. The impressive triptych in the entrance hall provides the connection between the different rooms. Note the playful interpretation of the Happy Faces. Instead of the classic representation on a display, Ilse and Luc chose to spread the heads randomly over the wall. The ceramic material of the heads was repeated in the vases and the visitor which makes for a beautiful whole. The black and white combination was also used in the sleek bowl with matching spheres. In the open cabinet in the desk match the bronze and stone figurines perfectly with the painting.
