Maintenance instructions

The artworks offered are produced in Germany, made from fracture-resistant, non-toxic plastic material in a rotation fee process. They are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. All parts come from Germany and are regularly subjected to quality controls. The sculptures are serial individual pieces, which ensures the special character of these works of art. The artist has approved the objects as they are. Any irregularities are no defect and can therefore not be considered as a reason for advertising. To keep your sculptures expressive for as long as possible, we request that you observe the maintenance instructions below:

Placement outside

Depending on the extent to which the sculptures are exposed to natural climate conditions, they will show traces of weathering over time, as is usual with any other material. Keep in mind that plastic materials are not designed to last as long as, for example, stone or metal. For a permanent color intensity, we recommend that you install the figures in a sheltered place and avoid exposure to permanent sunlight. Gold and silver-colored images in particular are better retained in this way.

Cleaning

Usual mild neutral cleaning agents and a soft sponge are suitable for removing dust and dirt.

Extra protection against wind and theft

You can drill a hole in the foot of the image. With the help of a substructure, for example of metal, you can then anchor the image directly on the ground. This is what the Ottmar Hörl team does when drafting for the art installations and fixing in the ground.
