Care Instructions

The artworks offered are produced in Germany using shatter-resistant, non-toxic plastic material in a rotational molding process. They are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. All components are sourced from Germany and undergo regular quality checks. The sculptures are individually crafted pieces produced in series, which gives these artworks their unique character. The artist has approved the objects as they are. Any irregularities do not constitute a defect and therefore cannot be considered grounds for a complaint. To keep your sculptures looking their best for as long as possible, please follow the maintenance instructions below:

Outdoor Placement

Depending on the extent to which the sculptures are exposed to natural weather conditions, they will show signs of weathering over time, as is typical for any other material. Please note that plastic materials are not designed to last as long as, for example, stone or metal. To maintain color intensity, we recommend installing the figures in a sheltered location and avoiding exposure to direct sunlight. Gold- and silver-colored sculptures, in particular, will be better preserved this way.

Cleaning

Standard mild, neutral cleaning agents and a soft sponge are suitable for removing dust and dirt.

Additional Protection Against Wind and Theft

You can drill a hole in the base of the sculpture. Using a support structure—for example, made of metal—you can then anchor the sculpture directly to the ground. This is what Ottmar Hörl’s team does when setting up the art installations and securing them to the ground.
