Francis Méan was born in 1952 in Liège, Belgium. He studied at the Higher School of Fine Arts St. Luc in Liege. Initially, he focused on painting and etching. Over time, he also discovered artistic expression in the third dimension and created a large number of bronze sculptures in various formats. Méan found his individual style in the late 1970s. Painting, graphics and sculpture merge in his work. Francis Méan is represented in a large number of galleries and museums.
